We started our artisan business in January 2006. Prior to this Lynn owned and ran an award winning Delicatessen in the centre of York. Lynn made many of her own products and was thus acclaimed a “Rick Stein Food Hero”. She also steered the Deli to Observer Food Magazine’s “Best Deli in Yorkshire and Humberside”. Lynn’s expertise in creating new tastes and exciting new products has ensured Henshelwoods are causing a sensation in fine food retailing.

As experienced Deli owners, `Henshelwoods` recognise that independent retailers need innovative products with eye-catching shelf appeal. Independent retailers also need to fulfil their customers' demands for exciting, tasty foods free of artificial additives and low on food miles.
