Halen Môn began in a saucepan on an Aga in our family kitchen. Today this Welsh sea salt sensation has caught the attention of chefs and food lovers across the world. Ten years ago we started by supplying Halen Môn sea salt to Swain’s, our local butchers in Menai Bridge on the Isle of Anglesey. alt

Snowdonia Cheese Company produces waxed, flavoured, truckles of cheese. Our Welsh cheeses have won national and international recognition at the British Cheese Awards, The True Taste and the World Cheese Awards. Products are manufactured in a world class creamery, while the company is supported by a number of expert suppliers.

 

The Hawkshead Relish Company are makers of award winning traditional Preserves, Relishes, Pickles, Chutneys, Jams and Marmalades.

Based in the beautiful English Lake District, our cooking methods are traditional. We use no additives, colourings or artificial flavourings just really great fresh local ingredients wherever possible, such as the famous local british damsons to create our award winning range of relishes, pickles and preserves.

Café de Cuba is the official importer of Cuban Coffee for the UK and Irish markets. Cuban Coffees are much sought after and appreciated for their quality and unique taste. Cuba has the ideal climate and natural conditions providing exceptional coffee crops. The coffees are shade grown, sun dried and chemical free. In addition to the popular Cuban brands of Cubita, Turquino and Serrano we have also created our own award winning coffee blends to incorporate other coffee origins.

 

Luscombe is a small producer from the depths of Devon. A very well kept secret, quietly making soft drinks and juices since 1997, accruing awards and gaining esteem. Now supplying most of the biggest names in Hotels, Restaurants and Food shops. Proudly stubborn in that we do not supply multiple retailers and are fastidious in our choice of ingredient and juices. You will notice Luscombe is not oversweet. You will notice that they are full in flavour. We don’t use anything that should not be there. You won’t notice the additives, enhancers and bubbles the size of toad’s eyes – as at Luscombe we don’t use them. This matters because the end result is balanced, nothing sticks out other than the feeling that it is right ... real neurotic attention to detail.

Relish In Spice is an award winning company based in West Sussex, producing a range of handmade quality condiments and cooking sauces. Also winner of ‘Best Sussex Food Producer’ 2009. Created by Michelin Star Trained Chef Mark Alistair Strachan in 2007, to produce a range of handmade products known for its quality rather than quantity and made with the best and as many local ingredients as possible. We use our own recipes which are based on extensive research and testing of traditional and modern approaches to cookery and preserving. All our products are handmade and contain no artificial flavours, colourings, or preservatives. Most products are gluten free and all are fully traceable. All of our products are made to order in small batches and we constantly strive to produce products of real character, quality and freshness. We are keen to offer our customers the best service and value for money.

Teapigs the specialist tea company is on a mission to get UK tea drinkers to “drink real tea”. teapigs define real tea to be quality whole leaf not the dusty stuff found in most of the nations paper teabags. Charcuterie direct, Marcel Malandain a pork butcher by trade started producing dried and cured pork meat for the fisherman in the early part of the last century, and for three generations now Roches Blanches has been producing a wonderful range of charcuterie products for all to savour. We not only offer products with unique recipes, but our team share a willingness to ensure that every one of our customers are delivered a service that is second to none.



Cornish Blue Cheese started Looking for ways to diversify their farm business and add value to their own milk, Philip and Carol Stansfield spotted the gap in the market for a young, blue cheese that could compete with imported blue cheeses. Designed to be eaten as a young cheese, Cornish Blue is a very different product from traditional English blue cheeses such as Stilton or Dorset Blue. Recognising that the climate and location of their farm were ideal for artisan cheesemaking and would give Cornish Blue its unique taste and character, the Stansfields started production on a small scale in 2001.

Based in Sherborne and surrounded by Dorset's beautiful rural landscape, The Seed Company produce cold pressed rapeseed oil made from a single variety of seed that's been chosen by us for its flavour and versatility. Using a single variety of seed means we can give you a consistent product with the same great taste and nutritional profile. With naturally occurring Omega 3,6 and 9 and Vitamin E, our rapeseed oil has less than half the saturated fat of olive oil too. All of our other products are made with this fantastic rapeseed oil, including our ever popular dressings and marinades.



The genuine quality of Williams Chase Distillery’s products comes from the home grown ingredients and artisan methods used to make them: Chase’s award winning English potato vodka is distilled five times in a handcrafted copper still and a skyscraping 70ft copper rectifier which has 42 bubble plates, each plate acting as a filter, before being chill filtered and handbottled. The result is an extremely pure and smooth luxury vodka. To this Williams infuses fresh fruit or freshly pressed elderflowers to produce his scrumptious velvety Chase Liqueurs.

The Casson family have been growing and sourcing Herbs and Spices for three generations at Frith Farm, where the Casson family live. Casson's English Herbs was set up by Charlotte Casson at the local farmers markets in 2006 with one of our first products the Coriander and lime dressing. In 2007 the award winning range of sauces were launched, where the Watercress sauce and the Tarragon & lemon sauce both won Great taste awards. In 2009 Casson's English Herbs launched their new Herb Mayonnaise range, winning that June TWO great taste awards for their Coriander & Pink Peppercorn Mayonnaise and their Dill & Lemon Zest Mayonnaise.



The Gower Cottage Story: After moving to the Gower with her husband and two young children in January 2006, Kate started selling her homemade brownies in a small village cooperative shop. Within the year she was receiving rave reviews from major national newspapers and glossy magazines. Now with awards from the UK 's Great Taste Awards and True Taste of Wales they are available both online and though various outlets within the UK . Gower Cottage produces homebaked, exceptional quality Brownies combined with superb customer service, in order to provide a truly perfect chocolate experience for all ages.

Our process involves salt curing, chilling, slow & gentle cold smoking then hot smoking to finish using oak and beech sawdust. We do not use any artificial colourings or preservatives and are confidant that once you have tried our range of products you will definitely come back for more ! Patchwork Pate: Patchwork was established in 1982 by Margaret Carter, a talented, although untrained, home cook, who found herself divorced with three children to look after.
With a start up cost of just £9.00, saved from the housekeeping, she began selling her home made pâtés to pubs in nearby Llangollen. As Margaret attracted more and more customers and the business successfully started to expand she moved the business from her house in 1987 to a purpose-equipped factory in the heart of Ruthin.

Dorset based Olives Et Al was started more than 16 years ago by Giles and Annie Henschel using recipes gathered on a year-long motorbike trip around the Mediterranean, Middle East and North Africa. Naturally specialising in great olives we also make kiln roasted nuts, brilliant snacks, authentic sauces, specialist oils and amazing dressings (not to mention a great range of Olive Wood accessories). Basically, we make lovely food which tastes and looks just the way it should using only the nicest ingredients.



American Food 2 UK: My name is Marcus Carter and I am the founder of americanfood2uk.com. My passion for all things American including the culture, the food and the people began when I became hooked on buffalo wings whilst setting up the US arm of the family business in 2006. Our salmon comes from Clare Island in Ireland. It is certified organic by the Irish Organic Farmers & Growers Association. (IOFGA) We are a family business based in Kinvara, a picturesque seaside village
on Galway Bay, on the west coast of Ireland. From here we ship our seafood products to satisfied customers in over 27 countries. We use only the finest raw material available - Organic Irish Salmon. We employ traditional, age old, smoking techniques in a state of the art HACCP approved Smokehouse to produce an Organic Smoked Salmon that is quite simply the very best available.

Quality poultry raised in the old-fashioned way Our family has been farming since the early 1800’s, and has been at Temple Farm since 1937. Over the past thirty years, our free range Christmas turkeys have built a fine reputation in London and the northern home counties. Label Anglais chicken was introduced in the 1990’s and is acclaimed by many experts as the finest chicken produced in the UK.



We have been growing chillies on an increasingly large scale for longer than we care to remember, but the business as we now know it started at the beginning of 2003. The chilli farm has expanded greatly since it's humble beginnings to the point where we now grow over 10,000 chilli plants every year and harvest tonnes of fresh chillies which we sell fresh or use in our range of chilli sauces, preserves and chilli chocolate.

Founded in 2003 by Mark Garcia-Oliver, The Fresh Pasta Company supplies the finest Italian fresh pasta available in the UK. The pasta is made in Italy with “00” flour and high egg content (min 20%) using traditional methods of production to the highest standard.

Gourmet Granola was set up in 2009 by Vicky Collis.
With a real passion for granola and healthy living Vicky created a line of granolas and mueslis containing only natural fruit sugars, no added salt, and no added E numbers or GM foods. The perfect slow release energy breakfast to keep you going all morning with all your favorite ingredients!
All the granolas and mueslis are hand made by a small passionate team in our unit in Park Royal using British oats and carefully selected delicious and unique ingredients.

Christine started her company “Mrs. Huddleston’s” eight years ago to test the market and she was delighted that her first customers were so encouraging with their response, and what started as a love of food and a keen interest in creating recipes has now grown into an established business. Since those early days, she has developed over 250 new very different recipes and continues to introduce new and exciting products to her range each year. Mrs Huddleston’s has received numerous major awards for innovation and over 30 medals for excellence.



O'Shea Butchers sells the best-quality meat and fantastic cuts which always inspire one to try new recipes. O'Shea speciality is different cuts of beef.

The beef has an impressive provenance – it comes from the free-range, grass-fed Black Angus cattle from the pastures of south-west Ireland. The cattle are outside almost all the year, thanks to the mild climate. The beef is also free from hormones and artificial additives.

Paxton & Whitfield was first recorded as a partnership in 1797, but its origins began in 1742 when Sam Cullen set up a cheese stall in Aldwych market. As London became increasingly affluent Sam moved his cheese business closer to his wealthy customer base, near to Jermyn Street where there is still a shop today. He also took on two new partners - Harry Paxton and Charles Whitfield. Ironically it is their names, not his, which grace the shop fronts now. The Company's reputation grew steadily, culminating in 1850 with the honour of being appointed cheesemonger to HM Queen Victoria. It was the first of many Royal Warrants that the Company has held.



We choose only the finest ingredients and quality products, carefully sourced from around the globe, for you to create recipes and dishes which look and taste authentic.

Potts' new "Quick to Cook" range has grown again! We have recently added four much requested Pour Over Sauces: Bearnaise, Hollandaise, Parsley and Three Peppercorn with Brandy. Like our 6 Cooking Sauce, 6 Gravies and 2 Dessert Sauces, these were created to meet a growing demand for finest quality, home-style cooked food, that can be prepared in minutes. Each product follows traditional recipes and most importantly have what Owen Potts calls Oomph! So even if you are having "One of those days" you can still make mouth-watering meals in minutes.

 

Wood Cottage Berry Farm is a small family estate on the Shropshire Welsh border, where blueberries flourish on the slightly acid soil. We farm with sustainable ecological methods, without the use of pesticides or harmful practices.
All our fruit is hand picked directly into the container and chilled quickly.
Our Policy is to distribute work back into the community by employing university students to help with hand weeding, picking and planting. The students live with us as a family, whilst they are here, with many returning at regular intervals throughout their degree courses for weekends or during vacations.

Sillfield Farm is home to Wild Boar, Rare Breed Pigs, Herdwick sheep and pedigree poultry. All of which are Free Range. We produce some of the finest farm products in the country and have received numerous awards in recognition of the quality and taste of these products, with fans including Jamie Oliver and Prince Charles.
The owners are Peter and Christine Gott, who have been running the farm for sixteen years. We also provide some of the best restaurants in London with our products, including Fifteen and The Ivy to name but a few.

 

Sharpham Park is an organic food farm and mill based near Glastonbury in Somerset. It is the family home of Roger Saul, founder of the British designer label Mulberry, and his wife Monty. Together they have created the Sharpham Park food range, out of their passion for sustainably farmed, healthy and natural food.

The farm specializes in growing Spelt, a nutritious and healthy ancient cousin of wheat, which it mills on the farm in a dedicated spelt mill ensuring no cross contamination - which is vital for those that are avoiding wheat or are wheat intolerant.
